Monthly poker classic
You can play poker Holdem under this cash game and the game starts 3pm on every third or fourth week of the month. The Entry fee is $220 ($20 for tournament commission, $200 for tournament prize pool) Each player will receive $10,000 in tournament chips.
A player is allowed three (3) re-buys into the tournament. A player who wishes to re-buy into the tournament will be required to pay the full entry fee of $220. A player who re-buys into the tournament will receive $10,000 in tournament chips.
Minimum number of players will be 10 and maximum can be 40 plus alternate players for the first 4 levels.
If the minimum number of players have not registered (and/or presented themselves to the Tournament Director/Assistant) by 15.00hrs, then the starting time for the tournament may be delayed by the Tournament Director/Assistant up until 16:00hrs.
The Tournament Director/ Assistant shall announce the revised starting time on or before15.00hrs. If any player (other than a player who has won, or has been transferred, a seat in the tournament) wishes to obtain a refund of their entry fee, due to the delay, this shall be allowed. If the minimum number of players has not been reached by the times notified as the revised starting time, the tournament shall not proceed.
Satellite poker
Satellite poker is offered three days a week and the game played is No Limit Holdem. The game generally starts from 7 PM with an entry fee of $50 ($6 pre-paid commission, $44 for tournament prize pool.) Each player will receive $2,000 in tournament chips
There are rebuys here and 10 players are required to start a Satellite tournament.
The 1st and 2nd place in a Satellite tournament will be awarded an entry ticket (to the value of $220) into the next scheduled monthly $220 Poker Classic tournament and will be registered for that tournament.
Monday Freeroll poker
Monday Freeroll Poker doesn’t have any entry free and each player will receive $2,500 in tournament chips. A player is allowed multiple re-buys into the tournament. A player who wishes to re-buy into the tournament will be required to pay a fee of $10 for a re-buy. A player who re-buys into the tournament will receive $2,500 in tournament chips.
A player may complete an add-on at the end of the 4th blind level. The number of players will be 10 and maximum can be 40 plus Alternate players for the first 4 levels.
If the minimum number of players have not registered by 19:50 then the starting time for the tournament may be delayed by the Tournament Director until 20:30.
The aggregate of any re-buys and add-ons for a tournament will go into the prize pool for the tournament. Each tournament has a guaranteed prize pool of $1000.
Thursday poker tournament
Thursday Poker Tournament has poker hold’em with only $110 buy in, every Thursday at 7:30pm. Each player will receive $5,000 in tournament chips with no rebuys
The number of players can be 10 or maximum 40 plus alternate players for the first 4 levels. If the minimum number of players have not registered by 19:50 then the starting time for the tournament may be delayed by the Tournament Director up until 20:30. Points to remember before you enter these cash games at Casino Canberra
- Poker table seating is subject to the Poker Room seating criteria displayed. Seating disputes will be resolved at the discretion of the Poker Pit Supervisor.
- You may only put your own name on to the Poker seating list.
- You must speak English when games are in progress.
- There is no talking while a hand is in progress.
- Also you must not use bad or offensive language.
- Cards or chips thrown forcibly or with malice that leave the table or hit the Dealer will result in exclusion from the Poker Pit.

- A player missing in excess of one round of play will forfeit their seat and their chips will be picked up and secured in the float.
- Mobile phones must not be used whilst seated at a table. This includes having the phone in plain view or on a person’s lap. Should a player need to use their phone, they must be at least two metres away from the edge of the table
- Cards and chips must remain in clear view of the Dealer and other players at all times.
- A single high denomination chip thrown toward the dealer without any indication of a raise will be taken as a call.
- If all bets are matched at the showdown, a player may request that any cards shown to another player will be exposed for all players to see.
